Pray With Us: May 2019 Prayer Requests

During the month of Ramadan, as Muslims fast and pray, the Christian churches in the MENA region also need your prayers.

My luggage was not all I had brought with me on this trip. Sadly, I had also taken along my preconceived ideas of Muslim people.

To many of us, persecution is understood to be hostility or pressure inflicted on someone because of who they are or what choices they make.

Maya’s sister was kidnapped last year. Sadly, kidnapping of young girls in this area is not uncommon. Christian girls are prime targets.

Pastor Nassir opened his church to those who had rejected his people. He, too, once had anger toward them, but God brought healing.

I was a woman looking for God before I became a believer, but nothing seemed to work with my old faith. I didn’t feel closer to God.

To be a woman in Turkey is to be a second-class citizen of no value. This belief and status begins at birth.
